As a part of the Group HUMAN ENDEAVOUR we are documenting urban regeneration & social housing in flux & transition through out the UK. An exhibition of this work will be held as part of the Brighton photo Fringe at the end of the year.
The idea of documenting all the dew ponds on the south downs has been an idea rattling around in the back of my head for a few years now. The inspiration for this came along whilst photographing for my project titled ‘Spirit of the Downs’ where I photographed some dew ponds on my many walks. There is something quite magical about dew ponds, they portray a natural existence but are totally man made features of the landscape. For this reason I can’t help but be drawn to them and here is the first of many more to come….
