I have been working on an update to my website over the last few days.  The site now has an image library so you can see what I have been up to over the last few years.  I am still going through my image catalogue and will be uploading more images over the coming weeks so keep checking back….

feegletscher glacier

Also in the summer last year I joined a group of Glaciologists from the UK  who were on a trip to Switzerland to study the Feegletscher glacier, Saas Fee.  I gave myself an open brief as to what I was going to do when I arrived, but I soon became interested in the structure and surface of the glacier as I didn’t want to take the archetypal shot. The images you see below are the beggings of a much larger project, so watch this space for more information…

whats been going on…

Well this is the first post on my blog, so I thought I would start with a picture….

I spent some time in California last summer, the shot above was taken whilst on a stroll in downtown Los Angeles.  The image came about whilst I was on a mission to find a drink – coffee, tea, water, just something to quench the thirst.  I thought this was going to be easy as you normally see a Starbucks on every corner, but no…. I spent a good half hour trying to find a damn shop! Eventually I found a store… All rehydrated and happy I walked out and was presented with the scene you see above…
